Itinerary
Greetings from Cebu, Philippines.
Your amiable tour manager or local representative will meet you outside the airport's luggage hall upon your arrival at Mactan-Cebu International Airport. Make your way to the hotel and check in. (The typical check-in time is after 1500 hours). The remainder of the day is free.
We take a ferry to Tagbilaran on Bohol Island this morning after a buffet breakfast. When we get there, we'll visit
See endangered tarsiers in their semi-natural forest habitat at the tranquil and educational Tarsier Sanctuary. The brief guided tour, which usually lasts 15 to 30 minutes along shady pathways, focuses on passive observation and environmental awareness.
Take a leisurely one-hour trip on emerald green waterways on a floating restaurant barge with live cultural performances and a buffet lunch on the Loboc River Cruise with Local Lunch & Entertainment.
See the Chocolate Hills, one of the nation's most famous geological marvels, which span 50 square kilometres and feature more than 1,200 symmetrical, cone-shaped mounds that range in height from 30 to 120 meters. Their name comes from the way their grass-covered surfaces turn chocolate brown during the dry months and lush green during the wet season. Take a picture at the Blood Compact Shrine and "The Ruins" church in Baclayon. Then, take a ferry back to Cebu.
Following the breakfast buffet this morning, we go on a tour of Highland Vista and Cebu City, which includes
Sirao Flower Garden, sometimes referred to as the "Little Amsterdam of Cebu," is a colourful flower farm in the highlands of Cebu City, Philippines. It features expansive fields of vibrant celosia blooms and other seasonal flowers like sunflowers and chrysanthemums. The site features hand sculptures, windmill replicas, and Bali-inspired installations against a mountainous backdrop, creating Instagram-worthy photo spo, observation towers, and floral walkways in a cool, breezy setting.
See the Temple of Leah, also known as Cebu's Taj Mahal, a magnificent Roman-inspired structure erected by businessman Teodorico Adarna as a memorial to his late wife, Leah Albino-Adarna.
Visit Tops Lookout, a well-known highland viewpoint that, on clear days, provides expansive panoramic views of the city, Mactan Island, and far-off Bohol.
Visit Taoist Temple, a colourful hub for Taoist worship perched atop Beverly Hills in Lahug. This impressive multi-tiered Chinese temple complex was constructed in 1972 by the local Chinese-Filipino population.
Visit the nation's oldest Catholic church, Basclica of Infant Jesus, which is home to the famed Santo Nino statue that Ferdinand Magellan gave in 1521.
Afterwards, take a drive through the energetic city and spend your leisure time exploring the biggest shopping complexes.
After the buffet breakfast this morning, you can spend the rest of the day exploring Cebu on your own or join us for an exciting Oslob excursion day that combines whale shark swimming, Kawasan Falls, and a stop at Moalboal Beach. You can swim with gentle butena whale sharks in shallow waters (gear provided, no touching or diving), stop at Kawasan Waterfall, and then stop at Moalboal Beach for a local lunch (Included). Return to Cebu City by car.
Check out and head to the airport this morning after breakfast. Make lovely recollections of your tour when you get home.
